Rumor: Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced could be bound for Nintendo Switch 2, based on retailer listings

If the latest retailer listings are to be believed, Ubisoft could be putting Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on Nintendo Switch 2.
French retailer E.Leclerc has reason to believe that Lexip is producing an Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced themed ‘Advanced Pro Wireless Controller’ for the system. It’s apparently coming very soon as it’s listed for September 22, 2026.

We’ll mention that this controller has not been officially announced and it’s not confirmed for release. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has also not been confirmed for the console. It’s technically possible that we could get the controller and not the game on Nintendo Switch 2, though that wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense.
Ubisoft is slowly but surely increasing its Nintendo Switch 2 support. One title available on the system is Assassin’s Creed Shadows, so the series has already made an appearance on the console.
If Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is making its way to Nintendo Switch 2, perhaps we’ll hear about it next week. Speculation indicates that we could be getting a Nintendo Direct presentation in just a few days.
