    Roblox is shutting down Roblox Connect, its avatar-based video calling feature introduced in 2023, according to a report by The Verge

    The feature let people do video calls while their Roblox avatars, mirrored real-world facial expressions and movement. However, Roblox’s spokesperson, Angela Allison, told The Verge that users 13+ mostly just use Party Voice now for private voice chats with trusted friends

    Also, Roblox has pulled the developer APIs that were connected to Connect. The company said Party Voice gives a more capable experience, and it better shows how people actually talk on Roblox these days

    Party Voice is available to users whose age has been verified as 13 or older. Roblox Connect has officially been discontinued
