Roblox is turning 20, and it’s throwing it back. To mark the anniversary, the platform is bringing back its classic look for a limited time.
Starting today you can opt into the anniversary theme in your device settings. Flip it on and the old Roblox logo, colours and font come back, the way the app looked years ago. It’s a nostalgia play, and a smart one, tapping into how big retro throwbacks have gotten lately.
There’s loot too. Special 20th anniversary UGC items are up for grabs while the celebration runs, so it’s worth logging in to collect them before they’re gone.
And this is just the opening act. Roblox says more anniversary announcements are landing this weekend, so the classic skin is the teaser, not the main event.
Twenty years is a long time for any game, let alone one that grew into a platform millions of people build on. Go flip the theme, grab the items, and keep an eye out for what drops this weekend.
