Jake also posted several photos with Maria to hisInstagramin October 2025 from a friend’s wedding in Las Vegas, including a sweet black and white snap of the two sharing a kiss on a balcony.
Jake and Maria’s wedding comes just over eight months after his parentswere killedat their Brentwood, Calif., home on Dec. 14. Prosecutors say Rob and Michele were stabbed to death at home by their sonNick Reiner, who has pleaded not guilty to murder.

And coming to termswith losing his parentshas been ever present on Jake’s mind as he reflected on the fact that Rob and Michelewon’t be there for many of his future celebrations.
“I was robbed of so many things that day,” the former news anchor wrote in an April post toSubstack. “My parents won’t be at my wedding, they won’t get to hold their future grandchild, and they won’t get to see me have the successful career I’m still seeking.”
He added, “It simultaneously breaks my heart and enrages me.”
Still, he was able to find joy in his relationship with Maria, adding that his father would often tell him he needed to break the patterns of his difficult relationship and he would “find the person who is truly right for you.”
“I’m proud to say I have found that person in Maria,” Jake wrote, “and I couldn’t be more grateful she had the chance to know and love my parents.”
