The first season introduces R.J., a disgraced newspaper photographer and ex-con who finds a new career as a private investigator in the colorful, crime-ridden setting of South Florida.
In each episode, R.J. takes on cases ranging from somewhat odd to utterly bizarre, while the overarching story reveals more about his past as his personal life grows increasingly complex.
At the end of Season 1, R.J. narrowly avoided being sent back to prison and started a budding romance with Emi. But his troubles were far from over, as a shocking, mysterious murder set the wheels in motion for Season 2.
