QI returns for a brand-new series as X marks the spot

QI is back, and this year we’re all about the letter X – so if you’ve ever wondered what a xerotic xanthocarp might be then this is the show for you. (It’s a dried banana, but don’t let that put you off.)
The nation’s most curious quiz show, QI, returns to BBC Two and iPlayer with Series X. The series promises another run of razor-sharp wit, unexpected facts and the very best in comedy talent.
At the helm once again is Sandi Toksvig, joined by Alan Davies, as they lead a brilliant line up of guests through a series of curious questions and Quite Interesting facts. Along the way, they’ll reminisce over Xs and Exes, uncover X Animals, celebrate Xmas, and explore the Xtreme.
The QI XL episodes (14 x 45) will be followed each week by a 30-minute repeat. The series will also include 2 x 30-minute compilation episodes. Across the run, Sandi and Alan will be joined by:

QI Series X will start on the 3 November at 9pm on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two.
