    • Launch Pensacola, a new family entertainment center, has opened at 8102 N. Davis Highway
    • The 31,000-square-foot facility is owned by Army veterans and father-and-son duo John and Jeremy Reams
    • Attractions include trampolines, duckpin bowling, an arcade, a ninja course, and interactive gaming experiences

The long-awaited opening of Launch Pensacola at 8102 N. Davis Highway has arrived.

Father-and-son owners John and Jeremy Reams, both Army veterans, have come a long way in transforming the former Dirt Cheap store into a space that now offers over 31,000 square feet of fun.

Customers have been pouring in since they opened the doors to the public on Oct. 17 for a soft opening. Staff used the opening weekend to work out the bugs, including an internet outage that impacted much of the area, but are open and planning a grand opening on Nov. 14.

In addition to the traditional arcade, duck bowling, trampolines and other interactive experiences, Pensacola’s Launch location offers state-of-the-art interactive gaming using projectors to simulate different experiences. Gaming systems like the Pixel Floor and Valo Arena offer a wide variety of multisensory games.

The pricing is broken up into packages and also a la carte options, allowing participants to be flexible with their plans. Customers can either purchase a pass and partake in a day’s worth of activities or pop in for a round of duckpin bowling.

Launch is offering a limited time “pre-grand opening pass” through Nov. 13, which includes an “unlimited all day action pass” including trampolines, dodgeball, a ninja course, stunt jump, battle beam and children’s playground for $35.

Other attractions, the duckpin bowling, Valo-Arena and arcade, will be an option to add-on and priced separately.

The first 150 guests on Nov. 14 will receive free “jumps” for a year.

Here’s a breakdown of all the activities that Launch Pensacola currently offers:

    • Valo Arena: A gaming experience where participants use their bodies to play instead of controllers, using motion sensors to create an immersive experience within fast-paced games.
    • AirTrack Basketball: This experience takes basketball to the next level using an inflatable AirTrack mat, allowing players to use an extra layer of bounce to make their slam dunks using the mat’s springy surface.
    • Battle Beam: Participants can face off against opponents, trying to knock each other off the beam and onto the cushioned landing pad in a “fun and competitive showdown.”
    • Pixel Floor: Another interesting digital gaming experience is the Pixel Floor, which uses “sensor-integrated tiles” to offer an interactive gaming experience that responds to real-time player movement.
    • Krave restaurant and bar: Krave offers a variety of plates perfect for sharing, including handcrafted pizzas and wings, as well as a full lineup of beer, wine and cocktails for the grown-ups. It also carries specialty milkshakes.
    • Arcade: Choose from a variety of arcade games to either play for the experience or for a prize, with earned tickets can be redeemable at the end of your session.
    • Duckpin bowling: Duckpin bowling offers all the fun of traditional bowling but on a smaller scale, with palm-sized balls and shorter pins, which scatter in a way that resembles ducks taking flight, according to socibowl.com.
    • Dodgeball: The traditional dodgeball match is elevated to new heights with trampoline pads as springboards for players to use as they take their shot at eliminating their opponents.
    • Ninja course: For those up for a challenge, the ninja course allows participants to climb and crawl their way through an obstacle course over a trampoline base.
    • Stunt Jump: Take a leap of faith in the park’s Stunt Jump, which allows participants to jump off a raised platform and fall comfortably into a giant airbag.
    • Trampoline Courts: Just want to jump? Launch has several interconnected trampoline pads as part of its Trampoline Parks where participants can bounce around with their friends or make new ones.

Launch Pensacola is now open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Launch Pensacola will be closed on Mondays.

More information is available on the Launch Family Entertainment website, including pricing and party information. For real-time updates, follow Launch Pensacola on social media.
