Prince Harry came face-to-face with a miniature version of himself — and couldn’t help but laugh.
The Duke of Sussex, 42, shared a sweet moment with 10-year-old Will Messer during the WellChild Awards in London on Monday, Sept. 21, when the young honoree brought along a Prince Harry Funko Pop! a Funko Pop! figurine — one of the stylized vinyl collectibles known for their oversized heads — for him to sign.
In a video shared on Instagram by ITV News royal editor Chris Ship, Harry is seen sitting with Will, who is receiving the Inspirational Child (aged 7-11) award, and holding up the boxed figurine before appearing to playfully imitate its expression, prompting laughs. He then autographed the packaging for Will.
WellChild later shared on Instagram Stories that Will “was so excited to meet Prince Harry.”
The WellChild Awards mark Harry’s latest public appearance since his return to London last month. Harry, his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, moved to the United Kingdom on Aug. 26 as they established life in Britain for an extended period.

The awards are a regular event for Harry, who has been a patron of the organization since 2007. Though he’s not attending as a working royal, his father, King Charles, clarified in a lettertain their continued status as non-working royals
“It is always a privilege to be part of the WellChild Awards and to meet the extraordinary children, young people, families and professionals whose courage and determination inspire us all,” the prince said in a statement prior to the ceremony.
“This year feels particularly special as we celebrate 20 years of the WellChild Nurse program, two decades of supporting thousands of children and families and helping them to live more of their lives at home,” he continued.
Harry added, “These awards are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate that impact, but above all to celebrate the incredible people at the heart of it. Their stories are a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through compassion, connection and community.”
