Charlotte D’Alessio is paying homage to her ex-boyfriend, the late Presley Gerber.
Last week, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber died of a suspected overdose during a stint at a rehab facility in Santa Monica, Calif. D’Alessio paid tribute to Gerber on Friday, sharing an emotional Instagram tribute featuring several sweet snaps from throughout their relationship.
“Rest easy king,” D’Alessio captioned the post. “Love you so much Pres. Connected for life.”
The first image was a black-and-white photo of the former couple embracing, with her arms thrown around his neck. Another snap saw them posing at a red carpet event, followed by a candid shot of Gerber smiling at the camera while wearing sunglasses and a scarf.
The post also included a few short videos, including one of Presley riding a mechanical bull and another clip that sees him wakeboarding. The final image was a camera snap of sunlight glittering across the water.

D’Alessio concluded her caption by writing to Gerber, “I’ll talk to you soon.”

Per records, an autopsy was completed on Monday, but the cause of death is still pending investigation. The Santa Monica Police Department announced Monday that the model’s death was being investigated as a suspected overdose.
D’Alessio, who dated Gerber for about two years from 2018 to 2020, previouslypaid tribute to his lifewith a brief Instagram Stories post.
“Shared a pure love with you & for that I thank & honor your life,” she wrote on Sept. 21 in a now-expired post. “You deserved more time. You deserved more life. Very angry [about] this.”
She continued, “Love u Pres. Up there, down here. Don’t ever doubt that. We all love you so much. I hope you can feel it.”
Gerber’s death was met with an outpouring of love from fans, friends, and loved ones. Brooklyn Beckham praised Presley as one of “the kindest” people he knew, adding, “We’re going to miss you so much.”
Paris Hilton penned a lengthy message after Gerber’s death, writing that she would “cherish” the memories that they made together. “You had such a gentle heart and there was something so special about you that anyone who was lucky enough to know you could feel,” the businesswoman wrote.
Also among those who paid tribute to the late modelwas another of his former girlfriends, Lexi Wood.

“It’s hard to put into words what it means to lose someone who was such a meaningful part of my life for so many years,” Wood, who appeared on season 9 of Bravo’s Summer House, wrote on Sept. 22, alongside snapshots of her and Gerber’s romance. “Through every chapter and every version of our relationship, friendship was always at the core of it.”
She continued, “Everyone who loved Presley and was loved by him knows he was one of the kindest, most open, loving and courageous people. He loved so deeply, so purely, was incredibly romantic and thoughtful.”
She went on to praise the model for his resilience, noting, “He fought so hard for his life and he was brave enough to be open about that fight. More than anything, he wanted to use his story to help other people, and he did.”

Prior to his death, Gerber was open about his mental health and addiction struggles, often sharing inspirational messages with his social media followers. He was praised by his sister, Kaia, for speaking out on the personal subject in the interest of raising awareness.
