Jen Affleck‘s marriage with Zac Affleckcouldn’t survive MomTok.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star—mom to kids Nora, 5, Luca, 3, and Penelope, 16 months, with a fourth baby on the way—filed for divorce from Zac on Nov. 3 after eight years together and seven years of marriage, according to Utah court records obtained by E! News.
E! News has reached out to Jen’s rep for comment but hasn’t heard back.
In recent years, Jen—who announced her pregnancy in June—and Zac’s marriage troubles have been highly documented on Mormon Wivesand spinoff series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, which saw the duo move to Southern California as they prepared to welcome another child.
Of course, with so many life changes comes plenty of relationship stressors, as Jen recently revealed.
“It’s been a lot the past couple of months, I’ll be honest,” Jen confessed to People in August. “But I do feel like I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and just trying to count my blessings every single day.”
While Jen wasn’t yet ready to say the “D” word at the time, she did admit, “There’s a lot that we’ve been navigating behind closed doors.”
For starters, the 27-year-old struggled with prenatal depression during a rough first trimester.
“I could not be there for my kids, and so Zac really had to show up,” she told the outlet, adding that though “he didn’t really have a choice,” she also “wouldn’t have survived the first trimester” without the 29-year-old, whom she met in 2018 and wed one year later.

Not only that, but navigating life’s ups and downs in the public eye comes with an added level of scrutiny.
While breakup rumors are nothing new for the exes, Jen previously shot down speculation their sometimes-contentious bickering on SLOMW was an indication they were headed for a divorce.
“It can be tiring and draining, just because it gets old having to hear the same things,” Jen exclusively told E! in November 2025. “For me, I’m like, ‘People will always talk and people will always have their opinions,’ and I think it is frustrating for him when people don’t see what’s happening behind closed doors and how much work and effort he’s putting in.”
Ultimately, Jen—who has shared her past struggles with mental health issues—focused on “tuning out the noise of the world” when she felt overwhelmed.
“It’s hard to have to constantly open your phone and see negative comments and it’s hard not to take that in,” the social media star explained. “Even if you say you don’t take it in, subconsciously we all care to a certain point. For me, I always have to remind myself, I post, I share my story, and then I take a step back. As long as I’m focusing on being the best version of myself, that’s all that matters.”
