What to expect from Hogwarts Legacy’s PS5 Pro Enhanced experience?
The PlayStation 5 Pro version of Hogwarts Legacy includes a slew of enhancements over the standard PS5 version. While the game has no PlayStation 5 Pro-only modes, it includes several performance-improving adjustments to the core gameplay. This includes keeping PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution active regardless of the graphics options players pick.
Both Fidelity modes cap the framerate at 30 FPS, while Performance Mode runs the game at a crisp 60 FPS. HFR Performance Mode can also remove the framerate cap. The PS5 Pro version also adds improved ray tracing, so shadows and reflections pop a little more vividly on screen.
The PlayStation 5 version also includes the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop Quest, which lets players access an additional dungeon, the Shopkeeper’s Cosmetic Set, and an in-game Hogsmeade shop. This version also adds new cosmetics, including The Glasses That Lived, Azkaban Prisoner Uniform and Coat, Onyx Hippogriff Mount, Felix Felicis Potion Recipe, and 2 Dark Wizard Brooms.
Avalanche Software developed the game, and Warner Bros. published it on PS5 in February 2023. The PS5 Pro version launched in 2024 with minor visual updates. The game is also available on Windows, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
