Twice-Grammy-nominated singer and performance artist Poppy has teamed up with SoWhen? to announce an exciting new Fortnite in-game experience out on October 23. The collaboration will remain available in gameplay for one month, until November 23. Fortnite is free and available on consoles, PC, and mobile. It is playable solo or in groups of up to four. For a visual preview of what’s in store, fans can watch the teaser video below.
Poppy Secret Run is an interactive musical journey hosted exclusively on Fortnite. It puts fans inside Poppy‘s world, allowing them to experience a performance of her song “Time Will Tell” in an entirely new way. Players move through and interact with the world, ultimately choosing between two paths: the Light or the Dark. Every decision throughout the experience helps determine where they end up. The world centers on a surreal universe of clocks, with two versions of Poppy guiding players through the experience, alongside her real-life sphynx cat, Pi. As players make choices, the world responds and reveals a distinct path.
In March 2026, Poppy recorded a full motion-capture performance with SoWhen? in Paris to create the basis for this project. She performed “Time Will Tell” live in studio, and her personalized game world was crafted around it. Her stage presence was kept intact and infused into her in-game character. Poppy‘s movements, face, and lips were captured free of suits and trackers using markerless motion capture and OptiTrack technology. The “Time Will Tell” audio was then carefully linked to gameplay. Every rise, flip, and collapse lands on the beat.
Beyond the main run, players can uncover exclusive content. There will also be a performance-only mode that’s her show, without the game. Locked doors hide exclusive stories Poppy has never shared before, rewarding those who return and explore deeper. More surprises will be revealed as the month unfolds.

SoWhen? is an Epic Games Unreal Engine Gold Service Partner.
In addition to this new Fortnite experience, Poppy will bring the sounds of “Empty Hands” to the stage for EVANESCENCE support dates and a handful of international music festivals.
