The teaser for NCIS: New Yorkdropped this week. The show is the latest in the NCISfranchise and will be both new and old in the sense of its being a new spin-off that follows an already established universe character. LL Cool J will return as Sam Hanna, this time taking on cases in New York. Scott Caan will play his new partner.
BritBox announced that a second season of Code of Silence, which is a BAFTA award winning series, will return for a second season. No word yet on its debut, but the announcement is here along withnew and returning cast! The show has begun with Rose Ayling-Ellis in the lead of Alison Brooks. Returning also is Andrew Buchan, Fifi Garfield, Nathan Armarkwei Laryea and John Bishop. New cast reporting for this case includes Jonah Hauer-King, Jo Joyner, and Sophie McShera. The story picks up two years after season one with Alison completing a “forensic lip-reading training” program and is asked to join a new “high-stakes” case involving a syndicate. This drama comes from Mammoth Screen and is described as a “BritBox Original” in the U.S.
TV NEWS | HALLMARK SEPTEMBER 2026 SCHEDULE: FALL INTO LOVE WILL CONTINUE
If you love Blue Skies from UPtv, you will be happy to know that season two is set to drop on UP Faith and Family this fall. The show will return October 1 and will bring back its primary cast including Scarlet Hunter and Markian Tarasiuk. The plot, according to the press release will again be set in the Crystal Ridge National Part and will “build on stories and characters” from the first season. A season that follows Jodi Larsen, a woman looking to start over again in her hometown, which she begins to do by taking on a criminal investigator job with the National Park Police.
Not long after its binge first season release, Prime Video announces that it has ordered a second season of Sterling Point. Megan Park creates the YA drama and follows Annie, a NYC teen who travels to a smaller, isolated town in Canada after an inheritance. While there she uncovers the most unexpected family secrets.
Also, in more Prime Video series news, season two of The Terminal List with Chris Pratt playing James Reece will debut on October 21. The show follows “Navy SEAL Commander “James Reece” (Chris Pratt) as he battles unknown conspiratorial forces seeking to upend the world order.” The show is also based on novels by Jack Carr.
