After news broke in January that Milo Ventimiglia had booked his next role, the pilot, American Blueis not moving forward. HBO Max opts not to proceed with this series order according to reporting while its studio Warner Bros Television is trying to find it a new home. The show was reportedly going to follow Ventimiglia’s character returning to his hometown where he would try and help a struggling police force.
The upcoming and previously announced MGM+ adaptation of the Charles Dickens novel A Tale of Two Cities has a release date. The miniseries, which has four parts, will premiere on September 6, and will release weekly episodes through September. The cast includes Kit Harrington, François Civil and Mirren Mack. Set in the 1700s, the show is about the high tension between France and England, and will follow Lucie, Charles and Sydney. See the trailer below.
