PlayStation Plus subscribers are having a blast with this free Skyrim-inspired RPG, with one gamer saying, “This is why I love PS Plus.”

Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service is stacked with hundreds of games, many of which you can play in an instant if you subscribe to the Premium tier, which allows you to stream games almost anywhere. That being said, even the basic Essential tier is full of games to keep you entertained for countless hours.

So, whether it’s major first-party PlayStation titles, massive AAA releases, indie darlings or retro classics, there’s just about something for every gamer. Hopefully, you’ll even uncover a gem that may not have initially been on your radar, similar to Redditor GoatMiami.

“This is why I love PS Plus,” declared GoatMiami, sharing an image of 2018’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance from developers, Warhorse Studios.

“I would drop every four out of five games until I find the right one. PS Plus helps me with a lot of trial and error without actually buying the game,” they continued.

“I had mixed feelings at the beginning [Kingdom Come: Deliverance], I gave up a couple of times, because the combat was hard, but the world and the realistic RPG kept pulling me back. After three to four hours, I started enjoying it at my own pace. Stealing, pickpocketing, alchemy, and using stealth. It was so rewarding.”

“Now I can buy Kingdom Come: Deliverance II knowing what I’m getting into. I’m told Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is more refined and has better side quests than KCD1.”

“The jump in quality from KCD1to KCD2is extremely high. The game is much, much, more polished,” replied LetMeInFFH.

“KCD2 is wonderful, it’s one of the best sequels,” said Icy_Childhood_1039.

“What a game. I bounced off it years ago after buying it on sale, and went back last week after my wife got me the second game for my birthday, “ explained Illustrious-Big1804. “I’m playing it on hardcore mode, and I’m absolutely hooked. It can be a little bit buggy at times, and the combat sucked until I figured out training with Bernard. I’m only about 40 hours in, but what a game.”

What’s the story on Kingdom Come: Deliverance?

“Bohemia – located in the heart of Europe, the region is rich in culture, silver, and sprawling castles. The death of its beloved ruler, Emperor Charles IV, has plunged the kingdom into dark times: war, corruption, and discord are tearing this jewel of the Holy Roman Empire apart,” the synopsis reads.

“You’re Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Thrust into a raging civil war, you watch helplessly as invaders storm your village and slaughter your friends and family. Narrowly escaping the brutal attack, you grab your sword to fight back. Avenge the death of your parents and help repel the invading forces!”

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Its sequel is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
