PlayStation Plus subscribers can now pick up four additional free games to play on the service.

In recent months, PlayStation has started drip-feeding the games being added to PlayStation Plus Extra over several weeks after the initial announcement, giving users a fresh batch of new games to play every single week.

This week, it’s added four new games to the service, which can be played by any PlayStation user with an active PS Plus Extra or Premium subscription.

Let’s have a nosey at the four new games that have arrived on PlayStation Plus this week.

    Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector

    • Release Date:January 31, 2025
    • PlayStation Store Rating: 4.48/5
    • Platforms: PS5

“A dice-driven RPG, in a human and heartfelt sci-fi world. You are an escaped android, with a malfunctioning body, a price on your head and no memory of your past. Get a ship, find a crew, and take on contracts while you navigate across the Starward Belt.”

    Dying Light

    • Release Date:January 27, 2015
    • PlayStation Store Rating: 4.64/5
    • Platforms: PS4

“First-person action survival game set in a post-apocalyptic open world overrun by flesh-hungry zombies. Roam a city devastated by a mysterious virus epidemic. Scavenge for supplies, craft weapons, and face hordes of the infected.”

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind

    • Release Date: December 10, 2024
    • PlayStation Store Rating: 3.92/5
    • Platforms: PS4, PS5

“In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, the team faces off against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers’ long-time nemesis. Robo Rita has conjured a portal to send herself back in time so she can finally vanquish the Power Rangers by forming an alliance with her younger self.”

    Snow Bros. Wonderland

    • Release Date: November 28, 2024
    • PlayStation Store Rating: 3.39/5
    • Platforms: PS4, PS5

“The legendary Snow Bros. series began over 30 years ago. Snow Bros. Wonderland is the newest chapter—and boy, has a lot changed in the last couple of decades! For starters, the graphics aren’t two-dimensional anymore; the new game offers a gorgeous 3D isometric style.”

What else came to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium this month?

PlayStation announced the new games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on July 15, with them coming in waves over the following weeks.

Wave 1 included only one game, Rise of the Ronin, which came on July 16.

Following that, Wave 2 launched a week later on July 21, bringing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, and Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit to the service.

The next batch of games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium is expected in the middle of August, while the next group of games confirmed to be coming to PlayStation Plus Essential will be announced this week.

Altogether, it’s a nice mix of games coming to the service, but it hasn’t done much to distract users from Sony’s announcement that it will discontinue physical game discs from January 2028, with thousands of comments on PlayStation’s social media still calling attention to this.
