Hole-y cow!
With the new remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time just hours away, it only makes sense that Nintendo should have an official ocarina available to purchase and play. In addition to the electric ocarina being manufactured by Hori, Nintendo has a traditional ocarina on offer. As of today, this one is available at the official Nintendo Stores in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Fukuoka.
The instrument should be available more widely in Japan and online later in November. We’re still waiting to hear more about a US release. It will cost 5,500 yen, which converts to around $35 USD. Click here to view the official store page, or check out some new photos below.
The musical instrument “Ocarina of Time” is now available for purchase today at Nintendo TOKYO/OSAKA/KYOTO/FUKUOKA and Nintendo Stores. It is compatible with voice recognition from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and when you play a melody on the instrument toward the microphone of the Switch 2, Link in the game will also play along in sync.
