The Oswego Public Library District invites community members of all ages to celebrate their favorite fandom later this month during Fandom Fest.
Fandom Fest will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Oswego campus, 32 W. Jefferson St. in downtown Oswego. The event is free.
Attendees can enjoy opportunities to connect with fellow fans, explore featured artists and vendors and take part in activities inspired by books, movies, games, comics, and more.
Some highlights of the event include:
• Goodie bags for the first 100 people.
• Professional cosplay groups.
• Dungeons & Dragons mini sessions.
• Artist Alley.
• Exhibition Hall.
• K-Pop and Pokémon crafts.
• Bingo, board games and more.
No registration is required for general attendance. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite characters.
