OneStore is launching a global app marketplace in 122 countries and expanding distribution of AI and blockchain games as well as its web payments business.

OneStore said on Aug. 31 it officially launched “OneStore Global” and the direct-to-consumer (D2C) payment platform “OneShop”.

OneStore Global began service in 122 countries across North America, Latin America and Asia. Content secured at launch totals about 1,000 titles, including “Frost Kingdom”, which ranked No. 1 on the popularity charts of South Korea’s two major app markets.

AI and blockchain games will also be distributed as key content. OneStore applies the same review standards to applications that use virtual assets or tokens as it does to other content, and it places no restrictions on the types of blockchains and wallets that can be linked.

Developers can launch games simultaneously in 122 countries with a single global build. Users can use credit cards and other payment methods supported by each country.

“AI Games”, a collection of AI-produced games, will launch in global markets in September. Users run games directly on OneStore Global without downloading a separate application. OneStore plans to expand globally the service it first began in South Korea in August.

OneStore also launched OneShop, a D2C payment platform integrating its existing “OneWebShop” with Nexth’s “CrossShop”.

OneShop service areas now total 7 countries, adding the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines to South Korea. The sales fee borne by developers is 5 percent excluding payment gateway (PG) fees.

Developers can adopt OneShop without developing a separate build by using OneStore’s in-app payment integration specifications. OneStore provides access paths to OneShop within games and on the OneStore Global app so developers can operate app distribution and web payments together.

It also added a site builder function that allows developers to configure sales pages directly. Developers can change product display formats, banner order, background colors and images to match their brands.

Jang Hyun-kuk (장현국), CEO of Nexth, said, “OneStore began in South Korea and has now launched the world’s first AI and blockchain game platform in 122 countries.” He added, “We will connect innovation in AI and blockchain to game content and platforms.”

OneStore plans to sequentially expand its service countries, OneShop support regions and content lineup.
