Ignition Press wraps up their first year of publication at New York Comic Con with convention exclusive covers, new announcements, and a presentation at NYCC Retailer Day. Fans can check out the debut of Dinner Date#1 byJoanne Starer, Khary Randolph, and Emilio Lopez, and a convention exclusive cover by Yoshi Yoshitani. There will also be an exclusive cover for Aaron Campbell, Tim Seeley, and Ben Templesmith’s 12-Foot Skeleton drawn by Martin Simmonds. Ignition Press will be joining Ultimate Comics at Booth #3927 at the Javits Center.

Ignition Press is excited to celebrate New York Comic Con 2026, taking place from October 8th – 11th at the Javits Center, with a special exclusive cover and a variety of incredible creators in attendance. The publisher is also presenting at the NYCC Retailer Day, where Sales Director Daniel Crary will dive into details about the various series that will be announced leading up to the show.
“Capping of our first year of publishing at New York Comic Con by connecting with the retail partners that have been our bedrock of support could not be more fitting,” said Ignition Press Publisher Filip Sablik. “We’re coming into the show with a slew of thrilling announcements that will have retailers and fans excited about what our second year holds!”
Ignition Press is teaming up with Ultimate Comics at Booth #3927 for the debut of the Dinner Date #1 exclusive variant cover by fan-favorite and Eisner Award-nominated artist Yoshi Yoshitani(Zatanna and the House of Secrets)! This cover is limited to 500 copies, with any remaining copies available on the Ignition Press webstore after the convention. Additionally, Ultimate Comics will host two Dinner Date signings with cover artist Yoshitani and the creative team of Joanne Starer (Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville),Khary Randolph (Vixen), and Emilio Lopez (Excellence) at 2:30pm on Thursday and 1:00pm on Saturday of the show.
Fans can meet some of their favorite creators exhibiting at the show in Artist Alley, including: Jeremy Haun(Murder Podcast,The Folk of Dooney Hollow) at J08, Aaron Campbell (12-Foot Skeleton, Everyone Loves A Jewel Thief) at F14, Aneke (Ripcord) at J25,Ben Templesmith(12-Foot Skeleton) at C25,Emilio Lopez (Dinner Date) at A22, Joe Eisma (The Other/Half) at J07, John J. Additionally, fans can purchase a creator exclusive variant cover of 12-Foot Skeleton #1 by Eisner Award-winner Martin Simmonds debuting at New York Comic-Con directly from Campbell and Scott’s Collectables.
