Nintendo has given an early tidbit about its remake for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2, revealing the game’s price. This comes courtesy of a store update in Australia.
The Nintendo eShop listing is the same as it has been previously. The Australian Nintendo Store, however, provides pricing information.
In Australia, the game will cost $94.95 AUD digitally. Given that, the physical version is expected to cost $109.95 AUD.
What should we expect here for Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s remake price in the States? We should have an official confirmation tomorrow, but given what’s happening in Australia, it should convert to $59.99 digitally (and £49.99 for those in the UK).
Note that Nintendo made a change earlier this year in which its digital releases for Switch 2 would be priced lower than their physical counterparts. Based on that, if Zelda: Ocarina of Time is $60 on the eShop, the physical version should cost $70.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time will cost the same amount as Yoshi and the Mysterious Book in Australia. In the United States, Yoshi was priced at $60 digitally and $70 physically. Again, we should know for certain by tomorrow, but this information should further indicate what to expect in terms of USD.
Nintendo shipped another remake earlier this year with the launch of Star Fox. That title was priced at $50 digitally and $60 physically.
Nintendo will host a special Direct for The Legend of Zelda’s 40th anniversary tomorrow, September 8. Aside from the release date for Ocarina of Time, perhaps we’ll hear about the special Nintendo Switch 2 system and Pro Controller, which were previously leaked.
