After cancelling the Kirby Air Riders Halloween event, Nintendo has announced a replacement.
The new event, which starts tomorrow, will carry the rules from “Shadow Star’s Revenge.” Nintendo says that the participation rewards will remain unchanged, including the Ghost headwear.
Event Points will be reset to 0. However, the number of points earned per match has been increased from the usual amount to make it easier to earn all rewards.
To say the least, the Halloween event did not go as planned. A lot of chaos could take place in the game, causing the action to freeze. We have more about the situation here.
Nintendo initially apologized after cancelling the event. The company again said today, “We sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience.”
You’ll be able to participate in the Kirby Air Riders Halloween event replacement until November 9, 2026.
There’ll be more Kirby goodness coming next year. Kirby and the World Beyond launches for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
