The Tick’s story centres on Arthur Everest (played by Griffin Newman). He’s an ordinary accountant with no powers and a lot of anxiety. He begins to believe his city is caught up in something bigger than anyone realises, and most people think he’s losing his mind. Then, he gets to meet The Tick, played by Peter Serafinowicz, a big blue superhero who is loud, sincere, and completely ridiculous in the best way. Together, they fight strange villains while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens their city.

Other roles in the series include Valorie Curry as Dot Everest, Brendan Hines as Superian, Yara Martinez as Ms Lint, Scott Speiser as Overkill, Jackie Earle Haley as The Terror, and François Chau as Walter.
