On screen, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Prithviraj Sukumaran may be locked in a rivalry in ‘Khalifa,’ but off screen, the two actors appear to have built quite a warm equation.

As Onam celebrations continue in full swing, Neil gave fans a glimpse of the lighter side of their bond, sharing moments from an Onam Sandhya they enjoyed with the ‘Khalifa’ team during the promotions of the Malayalam action thriller.

Neil shared a video on Instagram featuring Prithviraj, Kyraa Vasudevan and Malavika Sharma. The video shows the actors enjoying food, sharing smiles, hugs and some light moments together during the event.

Adding a fun touch to the post, Neil referred to his and Prithviraj’s characters in the film. His caption read, “Amir and Harris in a parallel world. Some punches, pains and bruises on set are worth every bit when the final result is smiles, hugs and memories that make it all worthwhile. Ps: the food during this interview was simply outstanding.. Burp !!”

Earlier, Neil had also expressed gratitude to team of ‘Khalifa’. Thanking Prithviraj Sukumaran for being his constant support on the sets, Neil on Instagram wrote, “And a very special thank you to my dearest brother @therealprithvi for being a brother, a constant support system on set and a guiding force throughout this journey. Taking on a character as challenging as Harris, in an even tougher language for me , Malayalam, would not have been the same without your guidance and encouragement. “Neil called Prithviraj a “powerhouse of inspiration.”

Calling Prithviraj a “powerhouse of inspiration,” Neil also shared how much the film and the people he worked with meant to him.

“Grateful to God for the experience. Grateful for the people on set. Grateful to have been Harris Basheer. With each film my love for cinema keeps growing. The film is now all yours. Give it love,” he added.

In ‘Khalifa: The Ruler’, Prithviraj plays Mambarakkal Amir Ali, an honest textile businessman who gets involved in international gold smuggling while trying to clear his family’s debts. Neil plays Harris Basheer, his main rival in the film.

Directed by Vysakh, the Malayalam action thriller also stars Kyraa Vasudevan and Malavika Sharma. The film was released worldwide in theatres on August 20, 2026.

‘Clayface: Celebrity Dirt’ #1 is one of the coolest debuts of the year

    By JamesJuly 8, 20260

Clayface has always been a favorite of mine when it comes to the Batman’s rogues gallery. That largely comes from the stellar two parter “Feet of Clay” from Batman: The Animated Series, a series of episodes that condensed the long and convoluted story of Clayface into a singular and tragic narrative
