Navi Mumbai is getting its own pop-culture weekend, with Comic Con India announcing the first-ever Navi Mumbai Comic Con for November 28 and 29, 2026. Comic Con Comes To Navi Mumbai For The First Time
The announcement was made through Comic Con India’s Instagram page, with the organisers asking fans to mark their calendars for what is being positioned as Navi Mumbai’s first dedicated Comic Con. Early Bird Superfan Passes are now live, enabling fans to secure access ahead of the event. Comic Con India has grown into one of the country’s largest pop-culture events, bringing together fans of comics, toys, anime, gaming, movies, television and cosplay.
Comic Con attracts more than 200,000 fans annually, while its digital community reaches millions more. The Navi Mumbai edition is planned to follow the wider Comic Con format, which often brings together comic creators, artists, gaming zones, merchandise stalls, interactive experiences, cosplay showcases and stage programmes under one roof. The organisers’ current 2026-27 season is also increasing its footprint across multiple Indian cities, with new locations being added to the Comic Con India calendar.
For cosplay enthusiasts, the event could be especially important. Comic Con India has previously featured large-scale cosplay contests and national-level competitions, alongside appearances by creators, performers and international guests. Details of the guest line-up, stage schedule, exhibitors and cosplay competitions for the Navi Mumbai edition are yet to be announced.
Comic Con Venue, Dates & Passes
The Comic Con will happen at the CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre, which is located in Sector 30-A, Vashi, and hosts exhibitions, conferences, entertainment showcases and other large-scale events. The venue is accessible through Navi Mumbai’s public transport network, including the suburban rail system.
With the first Navi Mumbai Comic Con now scheduled for November, fans across Navi Mumbai and the wider Mumbai Metropolitan Region will have a new destination to meet fellow fandom enthusiasts, discover comics and collectables, dress up as their favourite characters and spend a weekend immersed in pop culture.
Early Bird Superfan Passes are currently available through the official Comic Con India website. More details about guests, experiences and the full event line-up are expected to be announced closer to the convention.
