Rashmika Mandanna’s latest character does not arrive quietly. She emerges from the water with a sickle in hand, looking ready for a fight. The first teaser of ‘Mysaa’, released on Sunday, gives a glimpse of the actor’s intense role as a fierce Gond tribal woman.
The teaser begins with Rashmika’s voice as Mysaa, immediately hinting at the difficult journey ahead. “I am tired, I have stopped, I have lost,” she says.
But the images that follow tell a different story. Mysaa is shown as a fearless woman who refuses to give up. The character appears to fight alone, with several action-heavy moments highlighting her strength and determination.
One of the most striking shots comes underwater. Rashmika is seen sitting at the bottom of the water while holding a sickle. The haunting image adds a darker edge to the teaser and gives the film a glimpse of its visual style.

A physically demanding role
Rashmika plays a Gond tribal woman in the film, a role that required extensive physical preparation. The actor also had to perform demanding action sequences as part of the shoot.
Her work on the film reportedly came with a serious physical setback. During the filming of an intense dance sequence, Rashmika suffered a hip injury. Media reports said the injury resulted in a complete tendon detachment in her hip.
Doctors were reportedly surprised by the severity of the damage. According to the reports, such tendon injuries are more commonly seen among athletes undergoing rigorous physical training.
Rashmika was advised to take complete rest for six weeks. She later underwent a structured rehabilitation programme to help with her recovery and regain strength.
Mysaa heads for a five-language release
Produced by Unformula Films, ‘Mysaa’ marks the directorial debut of Rawindra Pulle. The film is being made as a large-scale action drama, with the makers promising ambitious action sequences and a technically focused visual approach.
The teaser gives only a glimpse of the world created for Mysaa, while keeping much of the story under wraps.
The makers have confirmed that ‘Mysaa’ will be released in theatres on November 27, 2026. The film will arrive in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
