<a href="https://comicvibe.com/miraj-entertainment-elevates-sameer-munshi/" title="Miraj Entertainment elevates Sameer Munshi”>Miraj Entertainment on July 22 announced elevation of Sameer Munshi as the chief operating officer, who will move from his role as vice president of operations and F&B.
Munshi, who brings over 25 years of leadership experience, managing large-scale malls and cinema exhibition operations, will oversee strategic growth through multi-location operations and business development.
“F&B has emerged as a genuine growth engine for us… my focus is on tighter operational benchmarking and scalable, tech-enabled processes — turning Miraj’s operations into a real competitive edge, not just a support function,” Munshi said.
Miraj Cinemas, the flagship multiplex brand of the Miraj Group, is one of the fastest-growing cinema chains with 250 screens across 73 cinemas in 50 cities spanning 16 states. The company has aims to expand to 300 screens across metros as well as Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets.
“Sameer’s understanding of both cinema operations and F&B economics makes him the right leader to steer our growth ambitions forward. We are confident his stewardship will bring the same discipline and customer-first approach that has defined his career so far,” Miraj Group CEO Arvind Jain said.
In June, Miraj Cinemas managing director Bhuvnesh Mendiratta passed away following a stroke at the age of 40.
