The beginning of the end for Marvel’s Multiverse Saga, and Phase 6 of the MCU, arrives when Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters December 18, 2026. If you’re looking to catch up on the most recent era of Marvel Studios, here’s a complete guide to watching Marvel’s Phase 6 TV shows and movies in release and chronological order

Phase 6 of the MCU may only include four movies, but there are numerous television projects, including Daredevil: Born Again and VisionQuest. It should be noted that not all projects are set in mainstream continuity, also known as the Sacred Timeline. Animated projects like Marvel Zombies and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man are considered part of Phase 6, but they are set in other continuities within the multiverse – we’ll cover that in our next section

- 12th Century BC: Eyes of Wakanda episode two
- 1400: Eyes of Wakanda episode three
- 1896: Eyes of Wakanda episode four
- 2025: VisionQuest
- 2026: Wonder Man
- 2027: The Punisher: One Last Kill, Daredevil: Born Again season two, and Wonder Man (epilogue)
- 2028: Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Daredevil: Born Again season three, and Avengers: Doomsday
- TBA: Avengers: Secret Wars (2027 film)
The Sacred Timeline is the main timeline within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where a majority of the movies and television shows take place. You’ve probably noticed that not all the projects are set in the year they were released. For this timeline, we’ve looked at production interviews and contextual clues to figure out when something takes place. For example, Paul Bettany has stated that VisionQuest takes place one year after WandaVision, placing it around 2025. The synopsis description for an official merchandise tie-in to Spider-Man: Brand New Day notes that the movie is set four years after No Way Home, placing it in 2028.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set on Earth-828, in a timeline separate from the other MCU movies. As of this writing First Steps is the only film set on this particular world

Marvel Zombies, X-Men ’97, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man are each set on their own worlds in the greater Marvel multiverse. This means that you can watch these in pretty much any order you want, since they have no direct relationship to other MCU projects
Is MCU Phase 6 only four movies?
Yes, MCU Phase 6 is only four movies:
- The Fantastic Four: First Steps
- Spider-Man: Brand New Day
- Avengers: Doomsday
- Avengers: Secret Wars
These films will be the conclusion of the MCU’s Multiverse Saga, which kicked off in Phase 4 with WandaVision. Marvel Studios’ live-action TV projects for Disney+ such as Daredevil: Born Again, The Punisher: One Last Kill, and VisionQuest, are expected to crossover with the Multiverse Saga movies (the Punisher shows up in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, for example), while the animated shows are traditionally either set in alternate realities, with the exception of 2025’s Eyes of Wakanda, which is set inside the Sacred Timeline.
Where can I watch MCU Phase 6
If you’re looking to get up to speed on Phase 6 of the MCU, you need a Disney+ subscription. Disney’s streaming service is the home for all of the MCU’s major projects, and, in fact, the only place you can find TV entries like The Punisher: One Last Kill.

Why did Galactus want the baby?
Galactus wanted the baby because he sensed his untapped power. In The Fantastic Four: First Steps Galactus felt immense Cosmic Energy radiating from the unborn Franklin Richards. The World Devourer hoped that Franklin would be able to absorb Galactus’s unending hunger, freeing him from his life of endlessly consuming planets. Naturally the Fantastic Four weren’t too keen on giving up their child, so an epic conflict ensued
Who is Sadie Sink playing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
As of writing, Sadie Sink’s Spider-Man character is unknown, but there have been persistent rumors that she could be playing Jean Grey of the X-Men. As yet, just weeks before the film’s premiere, Marvel Studios and Sony have not officially confirmed Sadie Sink’s character, which has led to rumors and speculation, with a few shots from the trailer seeming to hint at the film dealing with telepathic powers. We’ll know for sure when Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters on July 31

Keep in mind, this is just the actors who are confirmed to be returning. It’s expected that we’ll also see heroes like Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, but as of now that hasn’t been confirmed. Everything else is just a rumor or unconfirmed scoop
What is Avengers: Doomsday going to be about?
Avengers: Doomsday is about Marvel’s various heroes coming together to face an existential threat. The official synopsis from Marvel Studios reads, “In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.”
We can assume that the threat is Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, and that the three universes are the Sacred Timeline, the Fantastic Four’s world, and the Fox X-Men universe. Everything else is being kept under wraps
Who is the main villain in Avengers: Secret Wars?
Marvel Studios has purposefully not confirmed the main villain of Avengers: Secret Wars, but based on available information, that role looks set to be filled by Doctor Doom. While we don’t know any of the story details yet, Doom was the villain in both comic book versions of Secret Wars. Plus, Marvel probably wouldn’t bring back Robert Downey Jr. for a secondary role. While it’s possible Marvel will surprise us and use a character like the Beyonder, Doom is the most likely villain in Avengers: Secret Wars.
What will be Phase 7 of MCU?
Yes, there will be a Phase 7 of the MCU. Phase 7 will begin in 2028 after Avengers: Secret Wars concludes Phase 6 and the Multiverse Saga. As of this writing the next saga hasn’t been named, but it’s been speculated that the next storyline will be known as the Mutant Saga. While the full slate hasn’t been revealed yet, we do know Marvel is currently developing films on Black Panther, Shang-Chi, the X-Men, and Armor Wars. However, films often get shifted, and some take a while to get off the ground (Hi Blade), so don’t be surprised if only some of these hit theaters in the near future.
