Mckenna Grace wore an archival Alexander McQueen silk dress with butterflies all over for “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” press. Stylist Molly Dickson curated the standout ensemble. The collectible design featured an ivory base with colorful butterfly and moth prints.

The structured bodice hugged Grace’s frame. However, its delicate straps made the neckline appear barely secure. The fitted waist then flowed into a voluminous midi skirt. Additionally, layered tulle underneath added graceful movement. The rare vintage butterfly silk dress carries a price tag of about $10,857.

The vintage design dates back to the fashion house’s celebrated 2005-2006 era. Furthermore, it remains one of Alexander McQueen’s most recognizable butterfly creations. Grace paired the dress with gold pointed-toe stiletto pumps. She also wore a slim diamond ring, a delicate gold bracelet, and small gold diamond hoop earrings.

Her glam echoed the fairy-inspired outfit. Davide Barbieri styled her long blonde hair into soft waves. He also added thin accent braids throughout. Orange butterfly clips completed the enchanting hairstyle.

Meanwhile, makeup artist Jenny Coombs created a fresh, glowing finish. She wore W-blush in soft pink, faux freckles, fluffy lashes, shimmering white and pink eyeshadow, and rouge pink lips to complete the look.

The butterfly dress also reflected the actor’s ongoing method dressing approach. She has dropped several easter eggs throughout “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” press tour. The butterfly motif felt like a fitting tribute to the movie’s visual storytelling and the iconic character Effie Trinket.

Fans quickly praised the elegant look online. Many admired the archival fashion choice. Others loved the magical butterfly details. Overall, Grace’s “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” press tour continues to deliver memorable fashion moments.
