Apple TV has just released the official trailer for the highly anticipated comedy series Brothers starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. The video promises an absolute joyride as the longtime pals take viewers on a grand family adventure.
Brothers premieres on Apple TV on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, with the first two episodes. The remaining six episodes of the debut season will arrive weekly, every Wednesday.
Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson play fictionalized versions of themselves. The actors are also the creators of the series, alongside Lee Eisenberg and David West Read.
The show follows the two friends who decide to live together with their families at McConaughey’s Texas ranch. Furthermore, they uncover a family secret that they might be biological brothers.

What do we see in the Brothers trailer?
The official trailer for Apple TV’s Brothers introduces the fictional versions of McConaughey and Harrelson. Right off the bat, we notice the iconic eccentricities of the two actors as McConaughey begins to bang his chest and Harrelson takes a series of deep meditative breaths while squeezing his temples.
The trailer then shows a hilarious scene where McConaughey is crammed in the back of a car with some young men who realize who they’re sitting next to. One man asks, “Are you really Matthew McConaughey?” to which the actor says, “Yes, I am.” The fan then asks, “Would you sleep with my girlfriend?” and the Interstellar star says, “No, I will not.”
Things take an exciting turn when Harrelson pops up at McConaughey’s home with a colorful painted van and says, “Greetings, McConaugheys.” What follows is a montage of chaotic and heartfelt moments from the two families living together.
The trailer goes on to build the premise of the show, where the two friends begin to unravel a buried family secret that they might be brothers. The show is inspired by real-life speculations that McConaughey and Harrelson could share a biological father, something that the actors have discussed in the past.
