Mattel, the American toy company, has introduced a 1:1 LEGO-style buildable display model of the original Microsoft Xbox console, and its controller.
The 1:1 Scale Model has been introduced to celebrate 25 years of Microsoft’s iconic Xbox console. The scale model includes a total of 3,509 pieces and features interactive elements, hidden details, and tributes to three of the platform’s most popular games: Halo: Combat Evolved, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and Psychonauts.
Alongside the console, the model also includes a buildable version of the iconic Xbox controller, known as “The Duke.” The controller features functional buttons that activate hidden scenes from the three games. When activated, these feature lighting effects along with their respective in-game soundtracks. In addition, the set also includes 12 NanoWorld figures, as well.
In terms of pricing and availability, the model is not currently listed on e-commerce platforms in India or Mattel’s India storefront.
In other news, as part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations, Microsoft will showcase more than 25 upcoming games and feature 140 gaming stations at Gamescom 2026. The lineup will include titles such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Fable, Minecraft Dungeons II, and many more.
