The first trailer for Letterkenny creator Jared Keeso’s upcoming comedy, I Kill The Bear, has been released. The filmmaker is known for creating the Canadian sitcom and its spin-off, Shoresy. I Kill The Bear is a six-episode series following a Franco-Ontarian family of bear wranglers working on film sets as they take on their final production.

Like his previous works, Keeso created, wrote, and stars in I Kill The Bear. The show was shot and produced in Sudbury, Ontario. It follows The Thibaults, a fourth-generation Franco-Ontarian family of bear wranglers.

Watch the I Kill The Bear trailer below:

What happens in the I Kill The Bear trailer?

The trailer opens with a clip from The Ben Mulroney Show, in which the host interviews fictional actor Spencer McNery, played by Keeso. The clip shows an exchange between the two as they discuss thenimal on flights. It then shows Sarah-Maude Beauchesne introducing viewers to her on-screen brothers in the Thibault family. The mockumentary-style series follows the bear wranglers as they work on film sets

The Thibaults face challenges as they navigate the demands of filmmaking after being approached by Hollywood executives. As for what kind of movie they want to make, the family settles on an idea described as “Free Willy with a Bear.”

Besides Keeso, I Kill The Bear stars Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, Adrian Holmes, MMA star Georges St-Pierre, Jonathan Torrens, Sarah-Maude Beauchesne, Megha Sandhu, and Kristin Kreuk. It also brings back familiar faces from Keeso’s previous shows, including Letterkenny’s Dylan Playfair and Shoresy’s Eliana Jones and Frederick Roy. Guest stars include Andrew Antsanen, Jann Arden, Brent Butt, Michala Brasseur, Jesse Camacho, Kim Coates, Art D’Ecco, Tricia Helfer, Emma Hunter, Kim Cloutier, and more.

Keeso conceived the show’s story along with producer Trevor Risk. Dan and Sean Skene serve as directors and executive producers. Other executive producers include Mark Montefiore and Kara Haflidson, with Max Wolfond serving as supervising producer. New Metric Media is distributing the series in international territories.

I Kill The Bear will premiere on November 6, 2026, on Crave with its first two episodes, with the next two episodes arriving weekly.
