Epic Games has rolled out a new roadmap for LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, which promises to deliver ‘the biggest change to building yet’ over the next few months.

Four new LEGO Fortnite Odyssey updates will drop throughout the rest of 2026, each one adding a new building skill. The first arrives tomorrow (August 20), and replaces Guided Build with Quick Build as the default method of building new structures in the game. Quick Build will allow you to place more pieces simultaneously, shortening the time required to create huge buildings – with build speed increasing exponentially as you go.

Two new community builds will land in Odyssey this month too, bearing new Creator Crests, with more to follow in future updates. September will bring new builds and ‘new toys’; a later autumn update will introduce an Edit Build mode and more new community builds; while the final winter update will add a Save Build function to the game.

The first update tomorrow will also fix a number of known bugs, including the NINJAGO Island quest spawning inside a mountain, which doesn’t sound ideal. You’ll be able to download it and try out Quick Build for yourself tomorrow (August 20).
