Prince William and Kate Middleton’s latest family outing takes the crown.

The Prince and Princess of Wales brought their kids Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8, to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, on August 1.

At the event—held every four years to allow athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations to compete together—William and Kate could be seen watching the netball semi-final match between Australia and Jamaica while sitting in the stands beside their little ones.

For their game-day attire, Charlotte wore a black and white polka dot dress while her brothers donned trousers and button-down shirts.

As for their royally stylish parents, Kate donned a black and white striped top, a white skirt and a dark green blazer while William opted for a black suit, keeping it casual with a slightly undone button-down shirt.

Throughout the match, Kate and William, both 44, could be seen leaning in to explain the ins and outs of the game to their kids, which ended in Jamaica claiming victory with a final score of 46 to 45.

What Prince William and Kate Middleton Have Shared About Prince George’s Royal Life as a Teenager

The sporting event marks just one memory in what has been an eventful summer chalked full of family fun for the royals. And recently, Kate and William shared a deeper glimpse into what their family of five has been up to during the warmer months.

“The Summer Rewind,” the royals posted to their Instagram July 28. “Thank you to everyone who has made the last few months so special!”

Alongside the message, William and Kate shared several sweet summer snaps, including a visit to Wimbledon with George—who officially became a teenager in July—and Charlotte, as well as portraits of the three young royals.

Among the other highlights for the Wales family were meeting with Maori queen Nga wai hono i te po, celebrating David Attenborough’s 100th birthday and meeting with celebs like Robert Irwin, Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch.

And while the royal family has certainly soaked up all that summer 2026 had to offer, one of Kate’s most cherished memories from the past few months was participating inthe National Three Peaks Challenge to raise awareness about holistic healthcare for cancer after sharing in January 2025 that her cancer was in remission.

“Healing, whether personal or collective, is not just about fixing what is wrong. It is about finding balance in how we live,” she wrote on Instagram June 28. “Between effort and acceptance, between control and trust, between thinking and simply being.”

“Because in the end, bravery isn’t just about pushing forward,” Kate added. “It is about knowing how to stay grounded, connected and present, no matter the terrain or landscape you are walking.”

Keep reading for the latest royal news.
