Recap for Chapter 133

This new chapter showed us how Ibuki dealt with the gang members who had surrounded him. With his lightning-based sorcery, he showed us how destructive he can be at the same time he also revealed that he knows what the government is planning, as there might be a way. But before there is more development, we are given more context about Ibuki’s violent history.

It is revealed that he had killed his father, who was a police officer. Then we are introduced to his brother Natsuki, who comes to challenge him for a fight. Even with a 0-132 record, we do not see him backing down. It did not take a lot of effort from Ibuki’s side to once again defeat his brother. This made Shiba understand how talented he is in the first place. The chapter ends with Shiba preparing to confront him as Azami orders him to return.

What to expect from Kagurabachi Chapter 134? (Speculative)

Looking at what all happened in the recent installment, here is what fans could expect from Kagurabachi 134:

• Shiba and Ibuki could finally clash: The most obvious development that could happen in Kagurabachi Chapter 134 is a direct fight between Shiba and Ibuki. Chapter 133 ends with both men facing each other, and Shiba appears determined to test the notorious fighter despite Azami ordering him to return. Their confrontation could therefore become a test of strength rather than a fight to the death.

• Ibuki’s lightning sorcery could finally be explored: Ibuki barely needed his Raiku ability in Chapter 133, which makes his true combat ceiling difficult to determine.Kagurabachi Chapter 134could give readers the first proper look at what happens when he uses his lightning sorcery against a genuinely powerful opponent.

• Natsuki’s defeat may reveal more about the brothers: Natsuki’s 0-132 record is clearly played for comedy, but his memories suggest that he and Ibuki were once an incredibly effective team. Kagurabachi Chapter 134 could provide the first meaningful clue about what happened between the brothers and why Natsuki is so determined to defeat someone he clearly cannot match.

In the end, whatever happens, Kagurabachi Chapter 134 is shaping up to be another important chapter as the series continues building toward the larger conflict hinted at throughout this arc.
