The Kagurabachi anime will screen the full first two episodes at the finale of its international world tour in Japan on March 25, 2027. The event will take place at Tokyo’s Kabukiza Theatre, where the anime adaptation was first announced, and will feature appearances by members of the main cast. Live screenings are also planned at cinemas across Japan.
The world tour began in July, with attendees at Anime Expo in Los Angeles receiving an early look at Episode 1. The newly announced third part of the tour will bring screenings of the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 to AFA Singapore, Seoul, and CCXP Brazil in São Paulo. Special panels featuring cast members and anime producers will also take place at selected events.
The March event will serve as the tour’s final stop, bringing the anime back to Japan ahead of its scheduled April 2027 premiere. The announced itinerary does not include an Indian stop, though the tour will visit events across several international markets.
Kagurabachi follows Chihiro Rokuhira, a young swordsman whose father was murdered by a group of sorcerers who stole several powerful enchanted blades. Chihiro sets out to avenge his father and recover the weapons, wielding a special sword forged by his father as he faces increasingly dangerous opponents.
Takeru Hokazono writes and illustrates the original manga, which began serialisation in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2023. The television adaptation is being produced by Cypic, with Tetsuya Takeuchi directing and Keigo Sasaki handling character designs.
