Compact Crimes! Manga styled Judge Dredd collections announced

As part of 2000AD‘s and Judge Dredd’s 50th Anniversaries next year, Rebellion are launching a new range which collects the original run of Judge Dredd in a bumper 200-page compact format at a bargain price.

With a clear nod to the popular manga collection format that’s proven a sales success for several publishers, The Phoenix comic among them, Rebellion will begin publishing Judge Dredd: Compact Crimes, new 224-page black and white collections of Judge Dredd, priced just £9.99 ($12.99), in January 2027. A new volume will follow each month across 2027 and beyond.

As manga expert Paul Gravett notes, these black and white paperbacks in a 210×148mm (8¼ × 5⅞ in) size will sit on the same shelves and similar price in bookshops, right alongside many of the biggest manga hits and so may just grab manga fans’ attention.

Judge Dredd: Compact Crimes Volume One is available to preorder here from the official 2000AD webshop

    By JamesJuly 6, 20260

Acting for a living can take you down some peculiar avenues. Consider Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg. In the 2010s, they lent their voices to the “Rio” movies as an oil and water pair of blue Spix’s macaws who fall in love.
