JetSynthesys signs MOU with Japan's MIXI for gaming in India

JetSynthesys, an Indian digital entertainment and technology company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Japan’s MIXI, Inc. The two companies will explore working together in India on video gaming, esports, digital entertainment and marketing.

The companies said the MOU brings together JetSynthesys’s knowledge of India’s digital market and MIXI’s experience in gaming and entertainment.

They will look at game development and publishing support, marketing and user acquisition, and esports. The MOU also covers market intelligence and business development support, possible strategic investments, and any other areas both parties agree on.

Rajan Navani, chairman of JetSynthesys, said: “This partnership brings together complementary strengths from India and Japan, opening new possibilities across video gaming and digital entertainment, with the potential to create experiences for audiences globally.”

Ryo Shima, chief executive of JetSynthesys Japan, said: “India has emerged as one of the world’s most exciting digital entertainment and gaming markets, and global companies are increasingly looking for the right partner to help them navigate its scale, diversity and opportunity. Our MOU with MIXI reflects this growing confidence in India’s potential.”

Sadaaki Kaneyoshi, senior corporate officer at MIXI, said: “India represents one of the most important growth markets for the global gaming industry. Through this MOU with JetSynthesys, we look forward to deepening our understanding of the market and exploring potential opportunities across gaming and digital entertainment.”
