    • Vice President JD Vance shared his opinion on the Netflix series “Emily in Paris.”
    • Vance described the show as a “massive cultural criticism of millennial decision-making.”
    • The series follows an American marketing executive, played by Lily Collins, in Paris.

Vice President JD Vance has weighed in on one of television’s most enduring debates: Who should Emily end up with?

In a video posted Sept. 14, Vance discussed the Netflix romantic comedy “Emily in Paris,” including its central love triangle, and described the show as a “massive cultural criticism of millennial decision-making.”

“You gotta watch ‘Emily in Paris,'” Vance said. “It is, at the risk of overstating it, the Shakespeare of our time.”

The series, first airing in 2020, stars Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, an American marketing executive navigating work and relationships in Paris.

When does the final season of ‘Emily in Paris’ release?

The sixth and final season of “Emily in Paris” will premiere Dec. 24 on Netflix. The season will follow Emily to Greece and Monaco before returning to Paris
