Since her daughter-in-law is South Korean, Seymour paid a loving tribute to her culture by wearing a traditional hanbok as seen on Instagram. The “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” star was all smiles in her outfit, featuring a light blue top and a pale pink skirt, paired with white lace gloves. It was a touching decision and shows just how much Seymour values her daughter-in-law and is eager to welcome her into the family. Fans were also appreciative of Seymour’s decision to wear Korea’s traditional clothes. “Congratulations and thank you for introducing and honouring Korean Hanbok to the world!” an Instagram user cheerily commented.

Her son’s wedding was not the first time Jane Seymour has worn something that honors another culture. Some time after her film “Live and Let Die” came out in 1973, Seymour met the late Princess Margaret (younger sister to Queen Elizabeth II). For the occasion, the two-time Golden Globe winner thought it fitting to don a priceless vintage 19th century coat, to which the Princess became amused and quipped that the garment looked like something straight out of a museum.
The “War and Remembrance” star is a lover of vintage fashion, so much so that Seymour took the initiative to launch her own home design and decor brand, Jane Seymour Designs. The website not only sells fine art sculptures, but also silk scarves featuring art that she painted herself, inspired by her period shows and films. Truly, there is no other Hollywood celebrity who dedicates themself to fine art and culture like Jane Seymour.
