There’s good news for those who devoured the Spanish YA romance, ‘Culpa Mia’ (2023), and its subsequent two instalments. The buzz in the industry circles is that Prime Video is considering an Indian adaptation of the ‘Culpables’ trilogy, given the original’s wild popularity. And who’s the frontrunner to lead the steamy three-part romance? From what we’ve heard, Ishaan Khatter.

An industry insider told mid-day, “The desi adaptation is being discussed, and Ishaan is certainly one of the names being considered. But it’s too early to call it a done deal. There are several conversations happening at this stage.”

If things work out, the project would put Khatter at the centre of another youth-oriented romantic franchise. The actor has already displayed his ease in the genre with ‘The Royals‘ (2025). Details regarding the adaptation’s female lead, director, and production house are under wraps.
