    Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus & Ultra 5 250K Plus are now available below MSRP and come with a brand new game bundle.

    Intel Core Ultra 200S Price Drop & New Game Bundle: 270K Plus Now at $290 US, While 250K Plus Starts at $194

    Last month, Intel CPUs received a price hike, which was unexpected. This led to higher prices on the recently launched Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus. These two CPUs are designed with value in mind, and these price hikes meant that the value proposition was reduced compared to what reviewers showed.

    Intel blamed rising supply chain costsas the primary reason for the increased prices, and there might be some truth to it given the fact that almost every single component is facing shortages & that has resulted in prices going out of control.

    Now, a month later, it looks like gamers will be able to buy both chips either at or below MSRP. As part of Intel’s “Gamer Days” promotion, several Intel-powered PCs, including CPUs, are now selling at much lower prices.

    An Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor is priced at $310 on Newegg, featuring 24 cores, 5.5 GHz speed, and combo savings with ASUS and GIGABYTE motherboards.

    Starting with the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, this chip is now available for $290 US, which is $10 US off its original MSRP and $49 US off its new MSRP. The chip originally launched at $299, but price hikes have pushed the price to $339. This means that the 270K Plus is once again a very competitive chip vs the AMD Ryzen stack, which continues to expand.

    An Intel Core Ultra 5 250KF Plus processor is listed for $199.99 on Newegg, featuring 18 cores and up to 5.3 GHz.

    Meanwhile, the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, which launched at an MSRP of $199 US, is now available for $194 US (for KF) and $209 US (for K). The 250K launched at $199 but was pushed to $219 US, while the KF launched at $199 and was pushed to $204 US.

    Intel Q3 2026 “Gamer Days” Bundle Updated

    In addition to the discounted deals, Intel has also launched its latest “Gamer Days” bundle that applies to Intel CPUs, Intel Laptops, Intel Handhelds, and Intel Arc platforms (Mobile/Desktops).

    The new bundle follows a time period from August 10, 2026, to September 13, 2026. The qualified products need to be purchased within this period to be eligible for two games, which include the upcoming Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Star Wars: Galactic Racer. Both of these games have a combined value of $119.98 US. The redemption period will last till October 31, 2026, and you can visit https://softwareoffer.intel.com/ for more information on the redemption process.

    SCHEDULE SUMMARY
    Purchase Period: Buy a Qualifying Product Established by Participating Seller – may span some, but not necessarily all, of the following period:{August 10, 2026 USA Pacific Time} to {September 13, 2026 USA Pacific Time}
    For Promotions using the Purchase Verification Process only,  Submission Period: Submit Claim Form and Proof of Purchase  {August 10, 2026 USA Pacific Time} to {September 30, 2026 USA Pacific Time}
    Redemption Period: Redeem Offer {August 10, 2026 USA Pacific Time} to {October 31, 2026 USA Pacific Time}

    As for the qualifying (eligible) list of products, it is vast and covers 14th Gen CPUs, Arc A/B-series GPUs, and much more. The full list can be seen in the tables below:

    A chart titled '26Q3-13 Intel® Gamer Days Qualifying SKU List' displays various Intel® Core™ 14th gen mobile and desktop processors, including Intel® Arc™ Series processors, qualifying for gaming components and systems with discrete graphics.

    Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis launches on 12th February, 2027, while Star Wars: Galactic Racer launches on 6th October, 2026. These two game additions are very appealing & add to the value of Intel’s products such as the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus.
