Television actors and BFFs Karan Patel and Anita Hassanandani are set to reunite on-screen nearly a decade after their popular stint together on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
The actors will be seen as guests on the premiere episode of Indian Game Show hosted by Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiya.
The show will see the longtime friends and co-stars participate in a series of games and challenges, promising an entertaining reunion for fans.
Talking about reuniting with Karan Patel, Anita said, “One of the best parts about being on Indian Game Show was getting paired with Karan. We have known each other for years, and having a long-standing friendship definitely made this experience even more fun. There was so much friendly banter, and every challenge became twice as entertaining because we were doing it together.”
Highlighting the atmosphere on the show, she added, “Bharti and Harsh create such a lively atmosphere that you forget you’re competing and simply enjoy every moment. This episode is filled with unexpected twists, lots of laughs, and for Karan and me, it was truly double the entertainment. I’m sure the audience is going to have just as much fun watching it as we had shooting it.”
For Karan, the appearance felt more like a reunion with close friends than a professional commitment.
“Coming on Indian Game Show felt less like a shoot and more like meeting family. Harsh and Bharti felt like coming home; there’s so much love and comfort whenever we’re together. So, the moment I got the invitation, I was genuinely excited to be a part of it. With Bharti and Harsh around, the fun just never stops. We spent the entire time laughing, catching up, and simply enjoying each other’s company. It was a memorable experience, and I’m sure the audience is going to enjoy all the madness, fun, and surprises that this episode brings,” he said.
For the uninitiated, Karan Patel and Anita Hassanandani previously shared screen space in Ekta Kapoor’s popular television drama Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
Karan played the male lead Raman Bhalla, while Hassanandani portrayed Shagun Arora, Raman’s former wife and one of the show’s central characters.
The actors’ association on the show went beyond their on-screen equation, with the two developing a close friendship over the years.
