New York Comic Con 2026 is already shaping up to be one very magical celebration of fandom, and now another major star has officially joined the party! ReedPop has announced that Idina Menzel, the powerhouse performer known for Frozen, Broadway’s Wicked, and countless other fan-favorite roles, is heading to the Javits Center this October.
Menzel will be making her New York Comic Con 2026 debut on Thursday, October 8, giving fans plenty of opportunities to get up close and personal with the iconic performer. Her NYCC appearance will include a spotlight panel, photo opportunities, and autographing sessions, making this one guest appearance fans definitely won’t want to miss.
Of course, Menzel isn’t the only big name bringing some serious star power to NYCC 2026. She joins an already stacked guest lineup featuring Star Wars legends Hayden Christensen and Ian McDiarmid, Game of Thrones and 300 star Lena Headey, Doctor Who and House of the Dragon favorite Matt Smith, and Stranger Things star Jamie Campbell Bower.
And because no Comic Con lineup would be complete without some Muppet magic, legendary puppeteers Matt Vogel, the performer behind Kermit the Frog, and Dave Goelz, the legendary puppeteer behind Gonzo the Great, will also be on hand.
Basically, if you’re a fan of movies, television, Broadway, animation, sci-fi, fantasy, or just hanging out with thousands of fellow nerds, New York Comic Con 2026 is looking like the place to be this October!
This year’s convention is especially significant as New York Comic Con celebrates its 20th anniversary. The massive pop culture celebration returns to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City from October 8-11, 2026, with ReedPop promising a packed schedule of panels, screenings, special events, celebrity appearances, and plenty of surprises for fans.
And with Idina Menzel now added to the guest list, the countdown to NYCC 2026 just got a whole lot more exciting.
