San Diego Comic-Con 2026 once again became the ultimate playground for pop culture fans, and Hulu made sure animation lovers had one unforgettable stop on their convention adventure. Returning with its wildly popular Hulu Animayhem experience, the streamer transformed the Gaslamp Quarter into an immersive celebration of two beloved animated series—Futurama and King of the Hill—while Disney Entertainment Television also brought the world of Percy Jackson and the Olympians to downtown San Diego.

Hulu Animayhem: Fandom Fuel Up Delivers the Ultimate Fan Experience

Running from July 23–26, Hulu Animayhem: Fandom Fuel Up took over Palm Trees Garden in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, inviting fans to step directly into the hilarious worlds of Futurama and King of the Hill.

Whether you wanted to hang out with your favorite time-traveling crew, meet eccentric aliens, or spend time with Arlen’s most iconic neighbors, the immersive activation was packed with interactive fun. Guests explored themed environments inspired by both hit series, snapped plenty of character-inspired photo opportunities, sampled exclusive food and beverages, and walked away with collectible giveaways that made the experience even sweeter.

The activation continued Hulu’s tradition of creating memorable Comic-Con experiences that blur the line between fandom and reality, giving attendees plenty of share-worthy moments throughout the four-day event.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Makes a Mythical SDCC Appearance

Disney Entertainment Television also treated fans to an exciting Percy Jackson and the Olympians activation on Friday, July 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Located at the corner of 5th and L Street, the experience featured a massive, titan-sized trident that served as the centerpiece of an interactive character journey. Fans uncovered hidden Easter eggs, discovered teases for the upcoming season, and collected exclusive giveaways available only to attendees.

The activation offered fans another exciting opportunity to dive deeper into the expanding world of Percy Jackson while building anticipation for what’s next in the hit Disney+ series.

Hulu Continues to Make SDCC a Must-Visit Destination

From animated comedy favorites like Futurama and King of the Hill to the mythological adventures of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Hulu and Disney Entertainment Television once again proved why their San Diego Comic-Con activations remain among the convention’s biggest attractions.

With immersive environments, exclusive merchandise, interactive experiences, and plenty of fan service, this year’s activations delivered exactly what Comic-Con attendees love—memorable moments that bring their favorite stories off the screen and into the real world.
