The season three finale of House of the Dragon on Sunday could be the end for some of the biggest characters in the history of Game of Thrones.
The third season of House of the Dragon has built to an epic conclusion for several characters. In Sunday’s season finale, the future of Westeros, the dragons, and many of the great houses will be decided. Last week, Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen continued to lose control, with one of her dragon riders, Ser Ulf, switching sides at the behest of Ormund Hightower. Now she is down a dragon and a rider in her fight with the Hightowers, Aemond, and Aegon II Targaryen for control of the Seven Kingdoms. Also, in last week’s episode, Aegon II regained some power when his dragon, Sunfyre, woke to save him and burn the House Mooton army, giving Rhaenyra another challenger to her reign.

Over in Harrenhal, Aemond is on the brink of death again, after his mother Alicent Hightower poisoned him before fleeing the cursed castle. His fate is in the hands of Alys Rivers again in the season finale.
In Tumbleton, Ormond Hightower has the Hand of Queen Rhaenyra as a prisoner, a potential future king in Daeron under his wing and defectors flocking to him after his strategic sacking of the city.
This season has already seen the end of the story for Ser Criston Cole, Otto Hightower, Jacaerys Targaryen, Ser Jason Lannister, Sharako Lohar and several other key figures in the Dance of the Dragons. Who will survive the season three finale?
