Layne Riggs will start on the pole for Saturday’s race and will be joined on the front row by Cup Series regular Carson Hocevar. Another Cup Series driver, Christopher Bell, starts third, while Corey Heim, last year’s Truck Series champion who is now competing part-time in both Trucks and Cup, starts fourth. The next full-time driver on the grid is Gio Ruggiero in fifth.
Riggs, who has four wins already this season and who is rumored to be in contention for a Cup Series ride in 2027, leads the overall point standings. Kaden Honeycutt is second followed by Chandler Smith and Christian Eckes.
Last season, Chandler Smith won this race despite only leading one lap, taking the lead after Heim, who dominated the race, had a final-lap incident with Riggs that knocked him all the way down to 17th. Riggs went on to finish second, followed by Tyler Ankrum, Daniel Hemric and Grant Enfinger.
