Fans of “Resident Evil” can get their hands on a new collectible popcorn container inspired by the horror franchise, but supplies may not last long.

The limited-edition “Resident Evil” popcorn bag is designed to resemble a green medical courier or organ transplant cooler, tying into the imagery surrounding the new film. The insulated bag is being sold at several major theater chains and online while supplies last.

Cinemark ‘Resident Evil’ merch

Cinemark is offering the collectible at participating theaters and through its online merchandise store. Customers can order the bag directly from the Cinemark Shop.

AMC Theatres ‘Resident Evil’ collectible

AMC Theatres began selling the collectible at select locations Sept. 17. The bag costs about $19.99 and includes a large popcorn. You need a same-day movie ticket to buy it at participating theaters, and quantities are available while supplies last.

Regal Cinemas ‘Resident Evil’ popcorn bucket

Regal Cinemas is also offering the collectible at select theaters beginning opening weekend. The bag costs about $15.99 with a large popcorn at participating locations, though availability and purchase requirements may vary by theater.

Marcus Theatres ‘Resident Evil’ popcorn bucket

Marcus Theatres is selling the insulated bag at select concession stands for about $12 with a popcorn fill, while participating Emagine Theatres locations are expected to have the collectible beginning with opening-weekend showtimes.

The promotional item is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and quantities are limited. Moviegoers should check with their local theater before heading out because participation and inventory can vary by location.

Those who don’t want to risk missing out at the theater can buy the collectible online through the Cinemark Shop. Regal customers can also check participating theaters and showtimes through the chain’s “Resident Evil” promotional page.

The collectible arrives as “Resident Evil” returns to theaters, giving fans another piece of movie merchandise inspired by the long-running survival horror franchise.
