Honor Magic 9 series will elevate its videography with a new ARRI Cinema live-streaming feature. We are just a week away from the upcoming flagship’s launch, and meanwhile, the company continues to reveal major upgrades to these smartphones.
ARRI Cinema Mode debuted last month with the ROBOT PHONE. But Honor is further upgrading this feature with the Magic 9 series, with live streaming capability.
Live streaming refers to a real-time broadcast of video and audio over the internet through a mobile phone so the audience can watch and interact instantly.
With the Magic 9 series, Honor is introducing the ARRI Cinema Live Streaming feature that will give a cinematic look to this real-time broadcasting. It will boast a 2.39:1 cinematic aspect ratio, putting ARRI’s color science to work at any point.

The new live recording mode is quite easy to use. All you have to do is long-press the camera shutter to record and control the start time. Based on ARRI imaging technologies and functions, the new Cinema Live Streaming supports:
- 4K resolution
- 16:9 classic aspect ratio
- 2.39:1 cinematic aspect ratio
- Full ARRI official look
Magic 9 series will bring many interesting camera and video-shooting features on board, powered by ARRI imaging technologies. The exact details of every new addition alongside internal parameters will come to light by next week.
