Hilary Swank’s family is expanding!
The two-time Oscar winner announced on Instagram Oct. 14 that she is expecting her third child with husband Philip Schneider. Swank, 52, shared the baby news with a creative video that showed a family of four neon stick figures dancing.

When the mom stick figure stepped out from the shadows, she revealed a glowing, literally, baby bump. The clip was set to Bachman–Turner Overdrive’s “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet.”
The stick figure family grooved together as the chorus played: “B-b-b-baby, you just ain’t seen n-n-n-nothing yet.”
“A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December,” Swank cheekily wrote in the caption, confirming her due date.
Swank and Schneider, who have been married since 2018, are also proud parents to 3-year-old twins Aya and Ohm.

“It’s double the love, double the joy, double the exhaustion,” the “Million Dollar Baby” star told TODAY.com in a 2024 interview about her life as a mom of twins.
Speaking about her journey to motherhood, she shared, “I needed to find the right person. I didn’t know if I was going to find the right person. Was I going to do it on my own?”
After meeting and marrying Schneider, the two became parents in 2023.
“I found my fullest purpose in a way that I didn’t even realize was possible,” Swank gushed to TODAY.com.
She continued, “I thought that it would be like this dream, but it’s dreamier than I ever imagined. It blows open my whole world in the most beautiful way.”
When the twins were born, she shared the news by uploading a picture of her cradling both newborns on her Instagram April 9, 2023.
“It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it,” she wrote, in part.
Over the years, she has posted glimpses of her son and daughter. In August 2025, Swank uploaded a picture to her Instagram story of her traveling with her twins. One twin rode in a seat on top of a suitcase as she made her way through the airport in the snap.
“Reality of traveling with twin toddlers,” she wrote.
She also tagged her child and playfully added, “the cutest co-pilot (not for sale).”
The “Boys Don’t Cry” star previously told Women’s Health that although she froze her eggs when she was 37, she didn’t plan to become a mom later in life.
“I would have had kids earlier. I’m not saying I actively waited until 47,” she said. “But that was a magical time in my life, when it all culminated.”
